Questions & Answers
|
| Q: How does
the multiple camera feature work? |
|
A: The
back of the monitor has 4 dip switches. To watch only one camera, simply set
the camera to channel A, and turn the A switch to the on position on the
back of the monitor. To view two cameras, turn on two dip switches (A and B)
and make sure one camera is set to A and the second is set to B. The monitor
will automatically switch between camera A and B every 4 or 8 seconds. Up to
4 cameras can be added. |
| Q: How far
can the monitor be away from the camera? |
|
A: It
depends on the environment. With most homes, it will transmit very well over
300 feet. If many high frequency devices such as micro wave ovens, etc. are
used, this may cause interference. With a clear line of sight (no obstacles)
the system can transmit many thousands of feet away. |
