FAQAlso see FAQ Helmet Cameras/Camcorder connectionAre cameras difficult to install? All kits are supplied with simple plug-in connections. The power is provided by a AC/DC 12 Volt mains adapter; this allows all connections, cable and camera to be low voltage, 12 Volts. The most difficult part of the exercise is hiding the cable. For info on installation go to DIY
What is a switcher?Used in multiple camera systems, these inexpensive units sequentially switch from camera to camera for single camera viewing on a video monitor. Only the actual camera image being viewed on the monitor can be recorded. These units usually allow a camera's picture to be sequenced, bypassed, or held.
Can I connect the cameras to the monitor more than the 20metre cable suppliedYes, the cable provided allows plug connections to join cables, several can be joined without problem. Are TV's as good as monitors?TV's are cheaper, there are more sold than monitors. You also have a TV tuner in addition to the monitor. TV's have audio and remote control. Monitors do have a better picture quality, especially if being used for high security applications. If being used for general observation a TV will work fine. It is worth noting that you normally cannot connect slave monitors to a TV. They must be interlinked and the camera signal modulated (by using a modulator, supplied with the Tele Secam System).
What is Scart or Phono? All the cameras supplied will fit either the Scart or AV/Phono If you TV does not have Scart or Phono consider using your video and the TV via the video. If both TV and video do not have Scart or Phono you will require a modulator (supplied with Tele Secam System), to allow you to convert the camera signal to RF. This will now allow you to use the normal aerial socket. Connections to Cameras?See DIY page Will the Camera's work anywhere in the World? The Output of the Cameras is Composite Video. They are PAL System. They will not work in the USA or Canada. US and Canada uses NTSC system. If NTSC required please request. Our Remote monitoring and digital record system an wireless systems are suitable for Worldwide use. They will work with PAL, NTSC and SECAM.

Do you sell "Wireless CCTV Equipment"?
Yes, they match with any CCTV camera we sell - see wireless systems
Will the Cameras plug straight into the Aerial input of my TV or Video?

What voltage do the Cameras require?
The Cameras work on 12V DC, the Power Supply that comes with the Camera Kit's, will power up to 2 Cameras.
What is Polarity of the Cameras?
All the Cameras which have a 12 DC Socket on it are: Centre Pin Positive.
What does the standard 3.6mm lens see? (or 4.3mm supplied with 27C, as standard)
See Lens calculator

http://www.motorcycle-dk.com/en/multimedia/ All movies at Nüburgring, filmed at, or after September 9, with the 21C.
Can I use the cameras with my camcorder?
Yes, depends on model. It must have AV IN.
Cameras with C or CS mountModern cameras and lenses are generally CS mount rather than C mount. With CS mount cameras both types of lenses can be used but the C mount lens requires a 5mm ring to be fitted between the camera and lens to achieve a focused image. With C mount cameras it is not possible to use CS mount lenses as it is not physically possible to mount the lens close enough to the CCD to achieve a focused image.
Do it YourselfTV or Monitor? Lenses - adviceCompact camera connectionsEasy DIY task. All kits are supplied with simple plug-in connections. The power is provided by a plug in PSU (power supply unit) 12 Volt mains adapter; this allows all connections, cable and camera to be low voltage,12 Volts.
